Beam Transport Projects
Hi-Haul Transport has in recent times, positioned itself as a premier beam carrying company. Some of the larger projects we have transported beams for include:
- Monash Freeway duplication
- Tullamarine Freeway duplication
- Shepherds Bridge, Footscray widening
- Melbourne Airport expansion – approximately 100 beams up to 85 tonnes.
- The Western Freeway duplication
- Princes Highway, Gippsland duplication
- Princes Highway, Warne Ponds duplication
- Coordinating the transport of over 1600 bridge beams weighing up to 100 tonnes each from Morwell to the Eastlink road project in Melbourne. This contract spanned over 18 months and required an extraordinary amount of negotiation between Hi-Haul Transport and various government authorities.
